Consumer Confidence Index Declines Again In June

The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index®, which had declined in May, fell further in June. The Index now stands at 62.0 (1985=100), down from 64.4 in May. Retail sales slow in May, but industry not worried

After a surprisingly strong first quarter, consumers have slowed their spending in May, according to the latest report from the National Retail Federation.
