For the period ending January 30, 2016, Macy’s total sales declined 5.2% to $8.87 billion. Same-store sales fell 4.3%, slightly less than the 4.7% decrease analysts were expecting. Dillard’s announced a 35.6% drop in fourth quarter profit. For the period ending January 30, revenue was $2.07 billion for the fourth quarter, down from $2.1 billion a year ago.
